While we celebrate the Christmas day, there will be no sa lotto draw on Saturday 25 December 2010. The South African national lottery Operator, Gidani has confirmed. Spokesperson Thembi Tulwana said this Saturday’s Guaranteed LOTTO Jackpot of R15 million will mark the last draw to take place on a Saturday this year.
 

“LOTTO draws will resume again on Wednesday 29 December 2010,” said Tulwana.
She said PowerBall draws are not affected and would continue as normal.
A combined R33 million in lotto jackpot and PowerBall Jackpots is up for grabs this weekend. The PowerBall Jackpot is estimated at a stunning R18 million (Friday 17 December), while the LOTTO jackpot is guaranteed at R15 million on Saturday 18 December 2010.
